Hearts on Hearts

Good morning everyone!  Kat popping in to share my take on one of this month's challenges.  I love that all the challenges are about shapes...and I was excited to work with hearts.  A lot of my layouts feature hearts, so this was an easy one for me :)

I decided to keep my layout pretty simple because I love the photos on this one and I wanted them to shine.  For me, a simple design works best for highlighting the photos.  

To begin, I hand-cut three hearts from some Elle's Studio paper.  I also cut out the inside of the hearts so that they looked like heart-shaped outlines and I overlapped them on top of one another and my photos.  Then I sprinkled around some of the sweet Vicki Boutin Sugar Rush heart embellishments and finally added some of the 49 and Market chipboard embellishments.  Here's what I whipped up:
