Favorite Color | Jessica | Wednesday Sketch Challenge

 

Hello everyone! Jessica here, and today I’m sharing my take on today’s Wednesday Sketch designed by our very own Sarah! This is such a beautiful sketch so hopefully I did this one justice!

I started my layout by pulling out some distressinks and oxides and watering them down on my paper using the kissing or smooshing technique with some packaging for my mixed media. I used my heat tool to dry it since I’m a bit impatient and wanted to get to work on my stamping!

Next I pulled out my InkBlot Shop stamp set and Home Sewn Stitches from Elle’s Studio and a couple others from my stash to do some stamping on the mixed media. 

 I added my title using Pinkfresh Let’s Stay Home letters and Bella Florence Alphas. I then finished it off with some embellishments and die cuts from Simple Stories Homegrown collection!
