..:: sketchy saturday features ::..

..:: the features ::..

Our August Sketchy Saturday Sketch is based on an awesome layout by Nicole Samuels.  Here is her page that inspired us, and the resulting sketch.

Check out this DT inspiration:

Kelly Feldman grabbed a cute photo and some Kaisercraft Fiesta and got busy creating this colorful take on the sketch.  I love the black and white with all the colorful circles, and that square photo just pops off the page!

Jennifer McMurtrey's off-center take on this sketch is lovely! She used October Afternoon's Summertime collection to hight light that cute little one in that photo!

I kept it super simple and pretty true to the sketch.  I mixed up items from the Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy collection and the Citrus Bliss collection by Pink Paislee.

Here are a few projects based on the sketch that have been shared in our Paper Issues Friends and Fans group.

Our first feature is a layout created by Carol Maitoza.  I love how she took elements from several lines to create this fun summer inspired layout.

Coffee + Sketch + Shimelle = great combo for Stacie Dietz -- I super heart that vellum!

Heather S. used one of our free printables for her layout (and don't you just love that Crate Paper Wonder collection?).

Keep 'em coming friends! You have until September 13th to post them in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Group for a chance to win a Gift Card to the Paper Issues Store!  Make sure you follow Paper Issues on Facebook and Instagram -- you just might see your project featured!
