Hi Paper Issues friends, it's Kim and I'm back today with the first sketch of the month. This is such a fun sketch created by the talented Kat Benjamin. Make sure to head over to Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group so you can play along for a chance to win monthly prizes.
This sketch was perfect for these photos of my granddaughter. She was having a great time being silly and had a case of the giggles! I used Pinkfresh Studio Life Right Now collection on my page and you can find it in the Paper Issues Store.
I started with my background and used a Pinkfresh Studio ink cube which is no longer in the store, but there are lots of Inks available, so you can find just the color you need. I backed my photo with a thin white frame and then with tissue paper, to add more texture to my page. I used the Pinkfresh Studio Life Right Now collection and I framed both photos with the two colors of blue I was using on my layout. Then I pulled all the blue and light green florals and die-cut ephemera , Chipboard flair and a chipboard frame. I used one frame and cut it in half and I added tangled thread under each chipboard flair for more interest on my page. I used the Puffy alpha stickers for the large letters in my title and I added an older set of dark blue letters to shadow them, so they would stand out more on my background. I finished my page with Pinkfresh enamel dots, which are sold out, but you can find plenty of enamel dots in the store.
There are so many new items in the Paper Issues store. You can use code KIM everyday for 20% off all your purchases. Spend just $75 after the discount and you get Free Shipping!
