Your Turn for Scraplift Sunday!

Good morning, friends! Happy Scraplift Sunday! It's truly one of my favorite days of the week. It's Wendy here with you today and I am here to share with you a new layout for the weekly scraplift challenge. This week we are lifting a fun layout from Heather. You may view it by clicking here. Isn't it just a fun and inspiring layout. There are so many things to be inspired by-- the mixed media, the two photos in the bottom corner, the layered tags, the doodling. Really there are so many things to be inspired by. Take a look at the layout I made.

There are so many things I loved about Heather's layout starting with her fun CandyLand title. It made me want to create a second game night layout featuring our recent marathon of Triopoly. So again I pulled out Carta Bella Family Night and Simple Stories Family Fun because they are easily interchangeable. I started with two different stencils and three different oxides colors in Carved Pumpkin, Fossilized Amber, and Rustic Wilderness. I layered two paper strips across the page and then added two photos in the lower right corner like Heather. One of those papers is the Good Times star paper. Instead of tags, I layered ephemera of journaling tags and blocks behind my photos. I absolutely love the layers the details add to that corner.

I wanted to add a large title to the left center of my page so I downloaded and cut the free Game Night! cutfile. I backed it colorful papers from Carta Bella and put a spinner from Simple Stories behind it. But the fun thing is, there is a spinner on the cut file you can cut and back too! I added a banner from the Carta Bella sticker sheet and added twine from Doodlebug. This was so fast and so fun to build! Take a look at my up close detail photos.

Now it's your turn to get creative with this scraplift challenge and I hope you are feeling inspired! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
