Sketchy Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday, Happy Sketch Day!  Kat here with you today to introduce you to our newest sketch and show you what I created with it. 

Today's sketch is crazy fun and was created by the talented Melanie. I really loved it.  I loved it so much that I changed almost nothing about it.  Here's the sketch:

It's good, right!?  I really love the criss-cross design so I decided to re-create that with paper.  I broke out the Happy Blooms collection from Pinkfresh Studio (there's still a tiny bit left in the store) and went to town documenting some photos of my girl and I on a recent trip to the Flower Fields.

I did a little bit of distressed oxide in the background, then built my paper criss-cross design and then put my photos and flower die cuts down.  Like I said, I kept to the sketch pretty closely.  I did have to add in some ripped paper, though.  :)
