Scraplift Sunday...on Tuesday

Good morning friends!  Kat here to say: Happy March!! 

Today I am sharing my take on one of the recent Scraplift Sunday challenges.  I decided to scraplift an amazing layout by Rachel.  I didn't get a chance to play along when the lift was first revealed, but you better believe I wanted to lift it as soon as I go the chance to.  Here's her layout:

I just loved everything about her project - the fun circular design and the different-sized pie slices.  It's so stinkin' cute!

I decided I wanted to scrap some photos of my daughter riding her bicycle.  Instead of placing my photos like Rachel did, I decided to make my photos into pie slices, too.  

The You are My Sunshine collection from Bella Blvd was absolutely perfect for these photos - down to the cute little bicycle sticker.  This design was also the perfect way to get a bunch of patterns down on the paper without it being too busy...so I used a bunch of the fun patterns from the collection to make my pie slices.  I finished everything off with a touch of acetate stitched from Pretty Little Studio.  It's almost impossible for me to make a layout without them at this point.
