 Hello Paper Issues friends, this is Cassie W and today I am here to share my take on one of the challenges from our recent Spa themed crop.  These challenges are still available for you to play along with until March 15th.  Each entry in the spa crop gets you entered to win a $50 Paper Issues Gift Card!  All the fun takes place in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group.

I created this page for the Highlights challenge.  This challenge was about getting messy with some mixed media on your background, but the twist was that you could only use one color on a white background.  I ended up taking this one step further and creating a monochromatic page.

I started with some Vicki Boutin Foundations paper and added Lindy's Magicals in Dip a Toe Teal, Tilt-a-Wheel Teal, Sassy Sapphire and Stormy Sky.  I then used some Distress oxides in Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers to finish my background.  I then dug through my stash of Elle's Studio papers and embellishments for all the teal things.  Finally I used the Bella Blvd Florence Alpha in the color Gulf for my title.
