All You Need Is Love | Sarah

Good morning, PI friends! Happy Thursday! It's me Sarah back on the blog, and today I'm excited to be sharing a 12x12 layout using one of last month's 31 Days of Sketches. Did you follow along last month? I had a ton of fun working with a handful of them.

Today, I'm bringing back this awesome sketch that Erika created. I loved the circle design on this one, so I had to work with it.

Here's what I created:

I decided to work with the You Are My Sunshine collection by Bella Blvd for this layout. I'm still getting a kick out of working with it. The colors are so bright and fun! 

To follow the sketch, I wanted to keep with a circular design. To get that circle shape, I used one of the awesome free cut files that can be found in the PI store. Did you know there's a ton of free cut files you can download?! If you haven't checked it out, make sure to browse through them all. The one I used for this layout is the Love Is All You Need cut file. 

I love that the design has a stitching element already built into the cut file.

So, how'd I do?! I didn't follow the sketch exactly, but I tried to use the general circle design! I suppose that's the best part about sketches - you can alter them to how you see fit! Hopefully, this layout inspired you to create something.
