Hello! Becky here today with the Paper Issues Design Team to put the spotlight on Shimelle's Go Now Go collection designed for American Crafts.
I used this collection to document some of the photos from our daughter's trip to Australia. I really wanted to figure out how to use this world map patterned paper and I am totally pleased with how it came out! I was also super excited to use the luggage tag embellishments from this line. I love seeing new and creative embellishments added to a line that I haven't worked with before!
Mary Ann Jenkins is taking us way back with this awesome photo from 1939! I love Mary Ann's clean and simple design on this layout that really draws your eye to the black and white photo.
What a great photo and layout designed by Amanda Baldwin! Her title work and the fun use of the die-cuts and other embellishments from this line add a great frame around this adorable photo of her son!
Devra Hunt used Shimelle's line to document a real life Paper Issues Design Team meeting with 2-time Design Team member Leah l'Orange! I love the cluster of embellishments on the bottom left of Devra's page using the mountain and plane stickers!
Elodie Lusseau used fantastic layers on this page of her trip to Barcelona! I absolutely adore how Elodie layered papers and embellishments in the upper right for the sky and the lower left for the ground! So stinking clever!
Kelly designed this bitter sweet layout of her boy heading back to his Air Force base in Florida after Christmas. What a great use of this line! I love when scrappers document both the good moments and the more difficult moments in life!
The quote from Dr. Seuss that Pol Prince uses here on her layout is one of my absolute favorites! I also adore that Pol is scrapbooking both a photo and a memento on this layout about her son! It will be so awesome for him to someday look back at this moment in time!
Rachel is used the big bold patterns from this line for her layout! I love this grid heart pattern as a background paper and her family selfie is super adorable! The O'Neals could not get any more cute!
Mary-Ann Maldonado, the queen of clustering, has done it again with this awesome layout! I am continuously in awe of her use of embellishments! I also love that Mary-Ann used a super busy patterned paper background on this layout and it is ahhhhh-mazing! I always struggle with busy backgrounds!
Last but certainly not least is this awesome "quilted" layout designed by Stacie Dietz. What a labor of love this layout must have been with all that paper piecing, placement and stitching! I love the end result!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look! We hope that you will show us your projects using Shimelle's Go Now Go line!
