Hazelwood 'Life is Beautiful' with Pol Prince

Hi there, scrappy friends! It's Pol here today to share my very first blog post for Paper Issues! I'm super excited to be part of this awesome Design Team with so many talented ladies!

First up a bit about myself since I'm a newbie round here - I'm Pol (short for Polly), aged 38 - still 18 in my head! I'm a mum of three and I live in the UK. I work part-time as a childminder, and I've been scrapping since 2010 after the birth of my youngest son, but it's only recently I've discovered the lovely online scrapping community. Everyone is so wonderfully kind and encouraging, and I've made some fantastic, creative, scrappy friends. I hope you'll stop by to get to know me a bit better over the coming months!

Today I'm going to share with you a layout I made using oneCanoeTwo's beautiful Hazelwood collection and a free cut file from the Paper Issues store.

I absolutely adore anything butterfly related and as soon as I saw the Flock paper I knew I had to fussy cut those gorgeous butterflies out!

The 'Life is Lovely' title from the Darling phrase thickers went perfectly with this cute photo of my son, and I added some of the hearts from the set too.

I also fussy cut the Hazelwood Roses paper out and these looked perfect intertwined around the circular butterfly cut file.

To finish I tucked a tag from the Accent Stickers set behind my photo, and added the fussy cut butterflies using Pinflair glue to make them stand out slightly.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, and if you'd like to purchase anything I used in my layout, or any other scrappy goodies, just hop over to the Paper Issues Store. Don't forget to use code: Pol for 20% off everything!
