Welcome to the June Sketchy Saturday. This month, we adapted our sketch from this fantastic layout created by Sasha Farina for October Afternoon. Wow! From top to bottom this page is filled with details! Sasha used the Public Library collection brilliantly for this layout!
Here is how we interpreted the layout into a sketch for inspiration.
Our team had a blast using this sketch. Let's take a look at their projects...
Devra turned the sketch into a 2-page layout. She used all square elements that cascade down each page. Those Doodlebug papers and doilies are a perfect match for these adorable photos.
Michelle used Pink Paislee Atlas on this gorgeous page of the waterfront. Look at the use of those frames!
Kelly's simply stunning page highlights some beautiful vacation photos of her parents. That October Afternoon Treasure Map collection can be used in so many ways.
Alex rocked the sketch using the awesome new Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss. Those are some fun photos cascading down the page!
Jana's beautiful page could also double as wall art! What a creative use of the Simple Stories I Am papers and embellishments.
Jennifer McMurtrey really stepped out of the box with this unique 6x12 page. I love how she adapted the sketch to suit her page size! Oh, do I spy some Crate Paper Poolside here?
Tarrah used the fun large letters as the main element to the sketch. The Fancy Pants Office Suite collection is a lovely choice for this dreamy page.
Meaghen's signature style is all over this page. This sketch was made for her. From top to bottom, she makes all the Crate Paper shine.
Mary-Ann made excellent use of both the sketch and the May Swag Bag. Look at how all those bits and pieces fit together down the page.
Cassie, oh Cassie, Queen of Layering Everything has knocked another one out of the park using the bright and festive Chickaniddy Crafts 365 collection. I love how she used the sketch to add embellishments down the page!
Never fear carmakers, we have a new sketch for you as well! Created by Corri using the very versatile Fancy Pants Office Suite. I love how she used it on this card.
Lisa's ability to layer is astounding; her cards make me smile. The details are incredible and she uses Swag Bag bits like no other!
Well, I'm pretty sure we've given you some great ideas. Now it's your turn to create something inspired by either or both of these sketches! Please link them up below for your chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the Paper Issues shop! You have until Friday July 3 to add your projects.
