December is a month filled with all kinds of celebrations, traditions, gatherings, and decorations. Let's check what cut files the design team has to share to get us in the holiday spirit.
First up is Wendy with a gorgeous background using the Candy Cane Hearts cut file. Wendy said,"I used Elle’s Very Merry and Wonder collections with the new PinkFresh Holiday Magic collections and the Candy Cane Hearts cut file.
I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to scrap these photos of my dog licking a candy cane. The Candy Cane Hearts cut file is perfect for this." Cutting this design multiple times and creating a bold background added dimension and a perfect pop of red against the pink paper! Absolutely adorable pup pictures!Jessica is next with her beautiful circle design called Magical Memories Word Wreath. Jessica said, " I used the cut file with Fancy Pants Cozy Christmas and other items from my stash. Documenting one of our family Christmas photos from last year to kick off my December Album!"
To wrap up this blog post, Stacie here to share 2 cut files that I backed with Pretty Little Studio Grateful Heart. I loved how the collection was versatile and worked perfectly with the girls' holiday photos. Hangin' Up for the Holidays for the strand of lights that I tucked into the torn paper edges. The big cut file Holiday Traditions is from Holiday Titles. I layered Lindy's Magicals and Distress Oxides to create the muted tones of the papers from this collection. The top layer was white gesso to blend out some of the brightness. The final step was using the Elle's Studio Lizzy alpha stamp set to add stars and little sparkles with the mixed media colors.
