Hello scrappy friends! Jessica here, and today I’m sharing a layout with you for our Free File Friday featuring the Fall Fun Mega Leaf file and the Leaves are Falling cutfile.
I started off cutting the Mega Leaf file pretty big to fill up my page. I then clicked the hide contour button and cut it again in the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes paper to back my file but instead of backing the entire thing, I decided to just back my letters with it at the top and use the rest as a template to do some splatters around where my cutfile will sit with Tim Holtz Distress Oxides and Ink. I've also used some white acrylic paint to splatter as well. Then I backed the leaf with vellum and machine stitched all around it. While I was working on all of this, my Cricut was busy cutting out a bunch of "confetti" leaves from the Leaves are Falling free file, which I've sprinkled about the page. I finished it off using stamps and die cuts from Elle's Studio Thankful Collection.
I hope I have inspired
you to get crafty and join in the challenge on the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook group! Remember, for each challenge entry,
you are entered to win monthly prizes! If you need supplies, feel free to use
