Hi there, Kisha here! Happy first Wednesday sketch of October for Paper Issues! I can't believe we are already here. I am loving the new monthly challenges as they give me so much inspiration, and get me to do things I normally wouldn't think to do. I don't use a lot of circles on my layouts, but when I saw this beautiful sketch by Lindsey Heilman, I knew just what I wanted to do.
I used Studio Tekturek for the background. I absolutely LOVE this patterned paper, and have multiple sheets of it. For the embellishing, I used Jen Hadfield ephemera, Bella Blvd phrases cut from papers, enamel dots and pink distress oxides and Dylusions paint for splatters. As you can see, not only do I love mixing companies, but I love layering; sometimes, the more the better!

This sketch was so much fun. It really made me think outside my usual square box.
We would love to see what you come up with using the sketches, as well as all of the other fabulous monthly challenges! Be sure you post your projects in the corresponding albums on the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} page on Facebook so that we can give you some love! Each project you post will enter you for a prize, just make sure you don't double dip by posting one project for more than one challenge.
Don't forget to run to the Paper Issues store right now, because it is filled with lots of new pretties! You won't want to miss out. Make sure you use my code KISHA for a 20% discount, and when you spend $75 (after discount), you'll get free shipping! Win-Win!
