Free File Feature: October Vibes

Hello Paper Issues Fans!  We are ready to share some October cut file inspiration with you to start off the weekend. These cut files are all about Halloween, seasonal activities, or reminders of your Fall favorites! Time to get those October memories documented with a few free cut files!

Katrina kicks off our October round up with her sweet pups all dressed up for some doggy treats!  Katrina used the new Fancy Pants collection A Little Scary and the Paper Issues free cut file called Halloween Sweet Flight. The lovely layers add to the festive feel of celebrating Halloween and the texture of the lace from the Fancy Pants collection is spooktacular!  The Sweet Flight cut file includes title words like Katrina used on her layered title and sweet treats like the candy corn border shown in her design! I absolutely love the mix of patterns that she used by backing her cut file letters in the smaller Halloween themed papers!

Next up is Wendy and she is all about the cozy season!  Staying home in autumn sounds like the perfect idea!  Here's what Wendy had to say about her design, "I picked this cut file called Fall Fill Ins because I love this style of cut file and backing them. But this time, I decided to back it in vellum like a few other girls have tried instead of different patterned papers. We've had a few cooler fall days so far this season, but mostly it has felt like an extended or second summer. On those cooler days we have had, I have enjoy staying at home and soaking up the fall vibes. My dog agrees."  Wendy is featuring Elle’s Studio Thankful and Autumn Days 6x8 paper pads, September labels, stitching stamps  (find the similar stitching stickers here), Autumn Days ephemera pack as well as Fancy Pants Not So Spooky ephemera pack.  The wood grain background paper is the perfect way to layer up a gorgeous fall layout!

Are you feeling the October vibes by now?  We don't want to "leaf you behind" on this round up so keep on scrolling down for more from DT member Jessica Michaels.  She has used Simple Stories Cozy Days, Ranger distress inks and the Leaves are Falling Background cut file. Her layered mixed media and stamped leaves add so much depth and interest to the floating leaves in the background.  Such a cute way to document fall memories and cruise into the season!!

Our last stop on the Free File Feature round up is the Halloween Costume Party cut file title with all the trick or treating fun!  A mix of Vicki Boutin Color Study patterned paper. A mix of Elle's Studio Autumn leaf die cuts, and Halloween cardstock stickers for the sticker word strips and candy corn.  The popped up title backed in Vicki Boutin Color Study gold stars paper was the perfect pop to balance out the Vicki Boutin striped paper on top!  Messy stitching to add dimension and textures throughout the background is the final touch used in this not-so-scary Halloween design!
