Wednesday Sketch #4 | Erika

 Hello everyone! Hope you're having a fab day. Stay a while for this week's new sketch brought to you by Melanie!

I never got to document my toddler first day at preschool in 2019, and this page just screamed boho vibes to me. So, I grabbed my Heidi Swapp carefree and got to work!

First, I cut our new free School Spirit cut file, and backed it on vellum I stamped with Staz-On. The Simple Stories Bro & Co sentiments were perfect!

I cut my papers out in the envelope shape you see in the sketch. I stitched all around, then distressed the heck out of the edges. Then, I stenciled some Distress Oxide Tattered Rose and stamped some gold behind where my cut file was going to go. I liked it so much I added some to the top of my page too!

I felt like being extra, so I took the ombre sheet in the Carefree paper pack and cut our Fall Leaves file on it, arranging them at the top of the page. The inside and the outline- we use the whole buffalo here! I added some flowers included in the paper pack since we were still transitioning from summer to fall. 

Lastly, I added a brand strip and 4 journaling tags at the bottom of my page to tie the top colors in, and types in my story of her first day. And that's it! Thanks for hanging out with me today! If you stop by the store, don't forget to use code LUCKY for 20% off. Have a great day!
