My take on Melanie's adorable sketch: Kisha

Hello, on this beautiful Wednesday! Today I am sharing my take on Melanie's sketch. The Wednesday sketches can be located in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} monthly challenge albums.

I love the simplicity here. She leaves a lot of room for your imagination. When I use a sketch, my vision usually ends up looking nothing like the original, but this one was just perfect for my photos.

It all started with the flowers. The more you get to know my style, you will notice that 99% of my layouts include flowers that are most commonly fussy cut from a paper. Jen Hadfield always has some of the best florals to use for that purpose. Vicki Boutin stencils and Tim Holtz distress oxides make the perfect combination for some fun mixed media! Photoplay has some adorable embellishments, and I almost always finish off my projects with enamel dots, because why not???
