Hello PI friends! Happy Tuesday to you! Rachel here and I'm back with another fun layout using Pink Paislee Wild Child! Did you see my layout last week? If not, check it out here! That layout was very light and bright so I wanted to create something darker for today's blog post. When I flipped through all the 12x12 patterned papers in the collection, I was immediately drawn to this awesome galaxy inspired paper! So let's take a closer look!
I started with my photo and wanted to create lots of layers behind it. First, I used the Sky's the Limit cut file to create the cutest little rocket! Don't forget - all our cut files are free in the Paper Issues store! Check them out here! Then, I added more layers all from the ephemera pack! I think my favorite part of the layout is the title (hello awesome Thickers!) which is anything but straight - having it follow the outline of the clouds gave it a fun and whimsical look like they were floating in outer space.
I used another cut file - just a simple moon from the Love You To The Moon And Back cut file! All around the page I added planet and star stickers as well as enamel dots to give it some extra pops of color against the dark background. Lastly, I added a few strips of paper and some ephemera at the bottom of the page for the finishing touch!
Hope you love it as much as I do! Speaking of love - I love the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group! We have so many monthly challenges, loads of inspiration and daily chat threads you don't want to miss. Join us here! Love the title over the clouds!!
