USE WHAT YOU DON'T USE CHALLENGE

Hello and happy Thursday!!

I am so happy to be back on the team and posting my first blog post for this term!  I have a pretty easy challenge to get you scrapping.  I made this layout using the Addison line from Bella Blvd. I've had it for a long time but just haven't used it.  So, that's how I came up with my challenge.

I want you to create a layout or card using something you don't usually add to your pages.  It's always easy to create with the things you are used to using, now it's time to use what you don't. 

For me it was the feathers.  I have seen them used on pages but just never got in to using them myself.  Well, I loved using them on this page!  The color combination is also new for me.  So I guess I managed to use two things I don't normally pick.  Here's a close-up of the feathers...

I grouped the feathers together, added some sewing thread, enamel dots and some flair.  Easy!

I'm not sure why I waited to use this line.  I love it!! So fun and easy to use!

If you don't have the Addison Line you can find it in the Paper Issues Store along with other great lines!  I hope to see your creations if this challenged you to create something!
