Hello! Becky here today with this month's TwoFer Tuesday layout using the BRAND NEW Amy Tangerine line, Better Together!
I really struggle with scrapbooking our kid's professional sports photos! The fake backdrops, the over posed positions, the team photos; it's just always a struggle!
For my daughter's basketball photos this year I decided to do something completely different. I just picked a paper line and went for it. I didn't try to match the uniforms exactly or use "sports" themed papers. I just used a normal, fun paper line and I totally love how this turned out!
I also added some enamel dots from Bella Blvd, which matched the patterned paper so well!
The inspiration for this layout actually came from Janet Grzanka-Dlugokenski's ScrapLift Sunday layout! Using Janet's layout to get me started on the left-side, I extended the patterned paper to incorporate Lily's individual shots onto the right side!
I loved how Janet used all the different labels by tucking them behind the photos and papers here and there and I did the same! I also added the black title thickers from Amy Tangerine's new line - her handwriting is so fun! I got away from the "sports" theme with my title as well! I think breaking out from the "sports" theme + inspiration from Janet really helped pull this layout together.
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look. Be sure to use the code BECKY for 20% off Amy Tangerine's new line, Better Together and anything else from the Paper Issues shop! So many new goodies are rolling in daily!
