Sketchy Saturday

Good morning! It's time to announce the June Sketchy Saturday Winner and reveal the July sketch! Our June winner is Louise and she created this wonderful card celebrating her son's graduation.

Congratulations Louise! Please send your full name and mailing address to paperissues@gmail.com within the next 48 hours and we will get your prize right out to you. If we don't hear from you, unfortunately we'll have to choose another winner. We don't want you to miss out. We loved everyone's entries. Thank you for playing along with us.

Now for our July Sketch!  This month We created a sketch from this fabulous layout created by Stephanie Buice for Doodlebug Designs.  This clean and well balanced layout features unique and clever ways to use washi tape on your pages. We love Stephanie's work and hope you will too. You can find more on her blog, My Bits of Sunshine, and also follow her on Instagram @stephbuice.

Here is the sketch adapted from Stephanie's layout.  As you can see, we gave you a different option for photo placement.

Now let's see how our team was inspired by the sketch!

Devra took advantage of the photo placement idea, using 2 larger photos and splitting the title. Whoa, that New Simple Stories Summer Vibes suits this page so well!

Michelle adjusted the sketch into more of a diamond shape. Look at how the October Afternoon Treasure Map papers work for a girl beach page! Awesome!

I love how Kelly layered vellum under her selection of Crate Paper to create this delightful gold, glimmering page.

McJennifer is so clever! She scaled the page down to 8.5 x 11. The new Fancy Pants Making Waves collection is so versatile and easy to use for any type of page!

Oh, look how Mandy Kay set her page slightly off kilter! She too used a wonderful variety of the Simple Stories Summer Vibes on this bright and cheerful page.

This sketch is so versatile that Orange Gearle used it to make this adorable card also using the Ahhhh-mazing Simple Stories Summer Vibes. Seriously -- one collection, so many uses!

Tarrah nailed the sketch using Amy Tangerine to create this light colorful page about her relationship with her sister. I love how the colors blend together.

Well, now it's your turn! We want to see your projects inspired by the sketch! You have until Friday July 31 to add your projects using the linkup below for your chance to win a $10 Gift Card to the Paper Issues store. You may even have your project featured in a future blog post!
