Hello, fellow crafters with issues!
Leah l'Orange here today bringing you a page that was TOTALLY inspired by a challenge from the inaugural Paper Issues Crop (#picrop) in our Facebook community that many of you enjoyed as much as we did! Thank you all SO MUCH for participating, for sharing your creations, for joining in the chit-chat, and for encouraging your fellow crafters. There was a lot of stepping outside the proverbial comfort zones, and some AMAZING ideas shared!
Paper Issues Creative Team member Alex threw down a challenge to incorporate a song title or lyrics into your pages, and you all BLEW IT OUTTA THE WATER! I created this in the spirit of that challenge.
Come on, admit it. You love office supplies as much as I do, and those plastic coated paper clips are pretty much the bee's knees. I dedicate this page to them! And David Bowie is all about pretty things and glam, so how better to rock out a glammy page than with TONS of glittery bits?
So. The supplies? Smooth white Bazzill cardstock. A snip of this Studio Calico Howdy paper. A little Doodlebug Sprinkles Vellum flag in gold. A scrap of Bella Blvd paper I had been hanging onto. A piece of a Simple Stories journal card and some chipboard from the SN@P DIY line. This Gold Foil cardstock from Fancy Pants (embossed and distressed). Alphas similar to THESE and THESE.
Pretty things, indeed!
Grab some of these pretties for yourself in the Paper Issues store, and use this to save 20% off everything!
And we just kicked off a brand new Link Party, so if you're devastated that the crop is over and you're looking for another challenge, CLICK HERE and link up new or old projects that follow the theme (remember to link back to us!)! Our awesome sponsor is 17turtles and they've got amazing cut files for your pages!
