We Are Buckeyes

Hi Paper Issues fans!  Christine here sharing a new layout using the new Amy Tangerine Stitched collection for the current issue “Get Your Game On”.

My husband and I met during college at Ohio State, so we are both diehard Buckeyes.  Even though we moved from Ohio to California many years ago, we still try to get back to Columbus for a game once every couple of years. 

I used the “Alternate” camera paper as my background.  I created a vertical and centered composition and layered different papers the same width across the layout.

I love this XO diecut in the Ephemera pack!  I propped it up with foam adhesive so it pops. 

I centered my title using my photo as a guide, using the awesome After Glow Alpha Thickers and Today Foam Word Thickers.  I love the combination of the fonts and I can see myself using them for titles a lot on layouts!  I added handwritten journaling to the strip of the “B” side of the “Repeat” paper.

I sewed across another strip of paper and curled it up.  Then I layered some diecuts and stickers to the left.  I like to create clusters of embellishments around my title or photo.

Those shaped enamel dots are also a favorite!
