Happy Wednesday, PI friends! It's me Sarah hosting today's blog, and I'm excited to be sharing another one of the May sketches. I'm sure you all know by now how much I love to use sketches, so you know I had a lot of fun making this one.
Without further ado, here's this week's sketch by the talented Cassie W:
Here's how I felt inspired by the above sketch:
I worked with the Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush collection to get this one done. I love the bright, tropical feel to these papers and stickers. It worked great for our recent trip to Hawaii.
I love the diagonal split down the middle of the design. Instead of using a straight edge to separate my layout, I wanted to use some floral elements. I layered a bunch of flowers that I fussy cut from one of the patterned paper.
Almost all of my layouts will include a date/year to help me document my photos. I love that there's a new Point Planner roller stamp with future years. I was on the end of my last roller date stamp, hehe.
Okay, that's all I have for now. I hope this colorful layout inspired you to create something using this sketch. Head on over to our FB group page and share your take on the sketch with us.
If you are in the mood for spoiling yourself, make sure to visit the PI store. There's lots of new goodies to check out. Also, don't forget to use code SARAH to save!
