Welcome to Scraplift Sunday

Good morning, everyone! Wendy here with you to start your week with a new Scraplift Sunday. Today we are lifting one of Stacie's layouts. As always, it's absolutely incredible and you may view that here. It's amazing! As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to lift it. I love everything about it. I loved all the layers, the color scheme (pink and green together is my favorite of all time), the stitching, the mixed media, the two photos. There are seriously so many things to be inspired by. Check out what I came up with.

I went back to my wheelhouse and picked vintage photos. These two photos are original and of my dad. I'm pretty sure they came from two different rolls of film based off their size and how they were cut. One was extra large with a scallop trim. I cut it off...very reluctantly. And while Stacie's pink and green color scheme was calling my name, it was not fitting for these photos. But Simple Stories Boho Baby is perfect for them!!

Have you seen this collection?! It's new in the Paper Issues store and you definitely need it. It's perfect for all your baby photos new and old. I started with white cardstock, a stencil from Echo Park and the Rainbow stencil from Simple Stories that coordinates with this collection. I used distress ink in Speckled Egg, Spun Sugar, and Tea Dye. I love these colors with this collection so much!! I picked the Dream Big, Little Wildflower, Twinkle Twinkle, and 3x4 Elements papers and cut various sizes of strips to layer across my page. I hand stitched rows across it. To embellish my layout, I used the chipboard stickers, combo cardstock stickers, and page pieces. I adore those little toys that have a vintage feel. They're perfect. I absolutely love the way this layout came together! I don't think I could have made this possible without the inspiration from Stacie. Take a look at the detailed photos of my layout.
