Scraplift Sundays Are Always Fun

Good morning, everyone! Wendy here with you to start your week with a new Scraplift Sunday. Today we are lifting one of Kelly.s layouts. She made this spread for her 52 Favorite's album during a Friday night live with Melanie. It's a fun little project they do documenting their favorite moment of the week. You can see her layout by clicking here. Isn't it cute?! What I love about it is how it can easily be turned into a 12x12 layout which is what I did here.

I loved that Kelly used Elle's Love You papers and cut them into a V on one side. It immediately had me thinking of my little bookmarks that came with the Pretty Little Studio Document Life collection that was in the store. I had two of those left and I built my entire layout around them. I love that Kelly included a few small photos and that got me thinking about a recent basketball game my brother invited us to. I took several pictures that night and thought it would be fun to print a few of them in a smaller size. Next, I pulled an older Basketball ephemera pack from Bella Blvd. I really couldn't even tell you how old this is because I bought it ages ago. I figured with having two boys one of them would want to play basketball. And while they do enjoy watching and shooting the ball around outside with each other, neither really have any interest in playing on an organized team. This was the perfect opportunity to pull that pack out and do some stash busting! So, I had the pictures, the ephemera, the two little bookmarks, and the idea. I decided to grab the same Love You paper pack as Kelly as well as the Elle's Studio Adventure paper pack and, much to my luck, they matched the Bella Blvd ephemera pack perfectly!

I knew I wanted to include our tickets as memorabilia and from there it was just picking the right die cut items that worked best. I used a bunch! If you know my scrapbooking style, I like to pile it all on my layout. I added extra chipboard pieces from Elle's Studio, stitching stickers from Pretty Little Studio (just like Kelly) and stars for added fun. It was so fast and simple to make this layout!! Take a look at a few of my up close photos.

Now it's your turn to get creative with this scraplift challenge and I hope you are feeling inspired! I can't wait to see what you come up with! Remember to upload your new creations in the March challenge album of the Paper Issues Friends and Fan Facebook group.
