Hey hey hey! It's Cat here up on the Paper Issues blog again! I hope everyone has been enjoying all the amazing challenges that have been going on this February. Combining that with all the new product releases and I just can't seem to keep up with all the scrapping that I want to get done! Now I don't know about any of you, but I will often have periods of time where I either am super inspired and can make a ton of layouts, and then periods where I just can't seem to get anything on paper or have it look the way I want. Well, the other day while I was stuck in a rut and trying to think about what I was going to do for my blog post I mentioned it to my 4 year old daughter while she was in my craft room with me. She immediately decided to take it upon herself to choose products for me to use. She ended up picking Crate Paper Cute Girl chipboard, specifically the mermaid, Cute Girl puffy stickers, Amy Tangerine Oh Happy Life foam words, and several papers from the Maggie Holmes Bloom and Shine collections. After that I grabbed some crepe paper, mist, and a doily and got to work. I wasn't sure what to expect from this challenge issued to me by my daughter, but I absolutely loved doing it! I am super happy with how it turned out, and maybe next time you're stuck for inspiration maybe turn to someone else for a little advice!
What an awesome challenge from your little girl! How old is she? She sounds like a scrapper-to-be. You did a great job with what she chose for you. I'd do this challenge, but I've only got a 63 year old man or a 31 year old man to ask and they don't participate in my scrapbooking... lol.

ReplyDeleteHi Sandy! She is 4, and she is definitely a scrapper in the making!
DeleteThis is beautiful. Great job
ReplyDeleteYour layouts are beautiful and inspiring! What do you use behind your photos that you are cutting up in your videos?
ReplyDeleteHi! I am using thin fun foam that you can usually find in the kids crafts section of craft stores!
