November Take 5 Tuesday Challenge

Hey it's Mary Ann here today with the very fist challenge for the month of November, the Take 5 Tuesday challenge!! This month we have lots of ideas from the Design Team to share with you, and we'd love for you to play along with us!! If this is your first time for Take 5, be sure to read all the way to the bottom for more info on how you can join in too.
Ok, let's get right to it... here's your November inspiration and idea list:

For my layout, I used chipboard, something shiny, a bow, more than 1 photo and bar code strips as my five items from the inspiration and idea list, all from Crate Paper's Gather collection. Notice behind my photo are the pieces of the manufacturers bar code strips. So many companies use them now to show what design is on the reverse side of the patterned paper, so I always keep them in case I need just a bit of color here and there! It's like a free embellishment!!

And now, here's some great ideas from more of the team!! Lisa always makes the cutest cards and this month is no exception!! I love how she used that darling mason jar from Crate Paper's Snow and Cocoa collection.  She also added in the color red, chipboard, plaid/checks, something shiny and stickers. I would love receiving this in the mail!!

Rachel uses a combination of the colors brown, red and yellow, chipboard, stripes and hand written journaling on this layout about a special trip she took with her husband. The embellishments she chose for this are so cute, and perfect for a travel page!

Look at this sweet layout from Amanda! She used the Gather collection too, and pulled cardstock, plaid, chipboard, stickers, something shiny, a title and bow from the idea list.

Look at those fabulous feathers Heather tucked around the cute photo of her cat! She also added a bit of machine stitching along with the color yellow, cardstock, chipboard a title and bow.

The Millie & June collection by Fancy Pants Designs looks beautiful on this layout from Elodie!  Her 5 items are cardstock, plaid, shiny gold, stickers and a bow. I love the layers next to the photo!

The circles on this layout from Melanie are so creative! I love how they draw your eye right to her photo! She uses the color yellow, cardstock, something shiny, a title and handwritten journaling for her 5 things.

Stacie wowed us with this layout using We R Memory Keepers new High Five collection. Check out that amazing stitching she did around her title! Her items from the list are cardstock, chipboard leaves, plaid, banner, stickers title and bow.

Next up is a this layout from Carolyn, notice how she used the manufacturers bar code strips under her photos? Look at all the color and texture it gives!! She also included more than 1 photo, stickers, title and hand written journaling.

Last but not least is this fantastic layout from Kelly. I really love the torn and inked edges on this one! She uses the some of her favorites from Doodle Bug along with the colors brown and yellow, cardstock, checks, and stickers.

So are you inspired??  How about joining in on the first November challenge!!
