:: Mix It Up Monday ::

It's that time again -- time for Mix It Up Monday with Orange Gearle.   The challenge this month is to use stamps and/or ink. You can use stamps with ink, just like normal, or you can mix it up a bit. Some suggestion are: use ink, but not with a stamp (like add water for a water color look for a background), or use stamps with paint instead of ink. Combine the above or come up with your own idea.  Here are a few ways that the Design Team met the challenge this month...

I made a background paper (see all that yellow?) using a yellow ink pad, some water, and the packaging technique.  Next I stamped numbers all over it! It's a perfect match with Cocoa Vanilla's Make a Wish collection and for this layout about my daughter's seventh birthday.  Here's a close up of the layer that I made.

Rachel O'Neal stamped with black ink and then used water colors to make this fab layout of her family.

Amanda Baldwin got inky with this lovely layout using Pinkfresh Sudio's Indigo Hills collection. She used ink and a stencil, ink + water for a bit of splatter, and good old fashioned ink + stamping. Crazy fun! 😀

Stacie Ebnet Dietz embossed her circles on this beautiful layout.  I love all this watercolor!

Those leaves? Those flowers?  Yes, they are stamped! Elodie Lusseau created this background with paint, and I cannot decide what I like best! Gah! She rocked this Gather Collection and this layout is gorgeous!

Heather Shank use High Five for this adventurous layout -- and lots of circle stamp. I love the colors here!!!

Don't you love this guy?  Ann Tamimi used stamps and fancy coloring for this birthday card. Those slippers!  That gut! 😉
