Twinkle Toes Layout With Gather

Hello Paper Fans! Today I'm sharing a layout I made with the new Maggie Holmes "Gather" Collection. You can't go wrong with this collection - everything is so pretty!

 

I began with the picture because the collection has this gorgeous blue accent color that matches my daughter's tutu. From there, I chose this wood grain paper because it reminds me of the floor a ballerina would use. I chose the remaining papers for their colors and while I moved them around the page this triangle formation took shape. There are a few ballet embellishments in the collection that I made sure to include and I used a piece of chipboard from the Bloom Collection and some doilies to balance out the page. I used the blue embroidery thread to add some texture and interest.
