Take 5 Tuesday Challenge - October!!

It's Mary Ann here with your October Take 5 Tuesday challenge!! We've got a brand new idea and inspiration list, and can't wait for you to play along. Remember, you could WIN a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store!! If you are new to the Take 5 challenge, read all the way to the bottom for more information on how you can join in on the fun.

Here's your October idea and inspiration list:

For my layout, I used the color green, cardstock, arrows, 2 or more fonts, and splattered on a bit of mist. Those cute little banner tags were perfect for the two or more fonts category! Everything is from the beautiful Posh collection by Simple Stories, and is one of my faves right now, I just love the navy blue that is scattered throughout the collection!

Here's more Take 5 inspiration from some of the design team, they are all such talented girls and I love when they join in on the challenge too!!!
Kelly starts us out with this amazing layered layout using the colors green and white, layers, cardstock, 3 photos, arrow, stars, more than 2 fonts and mist/ink. Kelly documented her travels to see her son graduate from Air Force Academy. All of us at Paper Issues are so proud of her son, and love this layout!

Next up is Heather with this sweet layout of her mom and aunt. She uses green, white, layers, cardstock, leaves and mist. The layers of flowers and leaves are so pretty! I have a feeling her mom is going to want to keep this one ;)

Look at this darling layout from Rachel, aren't her boys the cutest with those donuts!!  She uses a combination of the color white, layers, 3 patterned papers, arrows, and 2 or more fonts.

Kristie has us ready for fall with this autumn layout. Look at those awesome leaves!!! Her 5 challenge items are white, three patterned papers, leaves, 2 or more fonts and mixed media.

Lisa used Echo Park's Fall is in the Air collection for this sweet card along with the colors orange, green and white, layers and pumpkins. I love how she added that darling owl to the tree!

Look how lovely Crate Paper's Gather collection looks with Pink Paislee's Take Me Away collection! Such a pretty combination on Melanie's layout. Her 5 items are white, layers, cardstock, something silver and mist for that beautiful background.

Amanda said she was "Pushing myself to work outside my comfort zone and try something really different" She succeeded with this striking layout! White, green, arrows, leaves and mixed media really stand out on the black cardstock background. Love this look!

Elodie's layout features Crate Papers Bloom line. She uses layers, 3 photos, asterisks, something silver and more than 2 fonts. What a great use of those word stickers, I love how they frame her photos! So pretty, Elodie!

3 photos, 3 patterned papers, orange green and white make up this bright and colorful layout from Alex. I love how the 3 beautiful photos of her daughter are the center of attention!

Wow, look at the fantastic layering on this beautiful layout from Michelle! So many little bits and pieces that all work together so well and really draw you in. Including the layers, she uses the colors orange and green, 3 patterned papers, 2 or more fonts, leaves and mist.

Family photos take center stage on Stacie's layout using the new Hello Fall collection from Simple Stories. This collection was truly made for these adorable photos!! She uses the color orange, 3 photos, 3 patterned papers, arrow, leaves and 2 or more fonts.

Carolyn used the free leaf cut file from the store, and then water colored the leaves. Don't they look amazing!!! Along with the leaves and and water colors, she also used the color orange, cardstock, and 3 patterned papers from the inspiration and idea list. So very pretty!!

Wow, is that some inspiration or what??  If you've played along with the Take 5 Challenge before, you know what to do, but if you're new to Paper Issues, or our Take 5 challenge, here's a quick recap of how it works...
I give you a list of items to use as your inspiration and starting point for your project. From that list, pick 5 items to use on your project. You can use more than 5, and combine your own ideas too, but to play along you must use at least 5 items from the list. Also, Take 5 is open to everyone, and is for scrapbookers, card makers, pocket pagers and off the page project makers too! If you are a paper crafter, this challenge is for you!!  You have until midnight EST November 5th to add your project to the October Take 5 Challenge album over in our Paper Issues {friends & fans} Facebook group. You could win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store!!
