Do you remember being a teenager and giving your mom fits about taking your picture? Oh. My. God. I was THE WORST. I look back on photos from holidays, social functions and other special events and I always have the worst, most sour look on my face because when I was between the ages of 10 and 16 having my photo taken was obviously the MOST TRAUMATIC THING EVER! Now, as a scrapbooker, I look back on the photos from my childhood years and can't help but be a little sad about the fact that I never allowed my mother to take a photograph of me with a pleasant expression on my face!
Fast forward to being a parent of a a teenager in 2016; BEHOLD THE SELFIE! I love ransacking my kid's social media accounts and stealing all of her selfies to scrapbook! I never have to worry about fighting with her over taking photos! Best of all -- she will actually enjoy looking back on her scrapbooks someday and not having to wish that she wasn't making an awful and disgusted face for the camera!! However, I may not be able to say the same for her fashion choices 15 years from now -- LOL!
If you haven't picked up Dear Lizzy's Saturday collection from the Paper Issues shop you are in luck because it is still in stock! I love this line and have used so much of it! The assortment of embellishments included in this collection was amazing!
