I used Amy Tangerine's new collection, Oh Happy Life and some Thickers from her older collections to create this layout. I wanted to use the cloud stamp as a background detail and to add hand stitching to the stamped images for texture and interest. I made a stamped cloud and cut it out to be the template for where to punch the holes in the paper. I always use the Amy Tangerine embroidery stitching kit for this step.
The title was prompted by the ephemera pack glasses and my daughter's glasses in the photo. I used the clear acetate 'crazy' as I wanted the stitching to show from under it.
I used several clear stickers from the sticker booklet and used the white die cut shape as a layer for my photo against the dark patterned paper to draw the eye to the hail on the photo.
Thanks so much for joining me today! Hopefully you got a few ideas on how to make a personalized patterned paper by adding hand stitching and using your neglected stamps. I also hope you'll try to create a title using ephemera, multiple fonts and alpha stickers! You can head to my blog for more details about my layout.
