:: mix it up monday ::

Hi! Orange Gearle here with a few of my friends for the Mix It Up Monday September Challenge!  I am so excited to show you all our inspiration this month! So let's get to it!

This challenge is all about creating something (like a painted background), and then cutting it up and adding it to a project!  I used some water colors, acrylic paint, water, and white card stock to make some yummy orange and pink circles for this layout!

This photo was taken the day after my daughter lost her first tooth!

I made a process video for this one, and if you aren't a video person, but maybe aren't sure what's expected for this challenge, I explain and demonstrate it within the first four minutes! ;-)

Amanda made this fantastic layout for the challenge -- those butterflies and that background! Love!

Ahhh! The layers here! Ann created this layout for the challenge and I am totally digging the title. That photo, tho -- to die for!

Heather Shank used tons of color and a free cut file from the Paper Issues store to create this awesome layout. There is so much going on here -- and I love it all!

Melanie knocked my socks off with this tender layout. Those leaves are beautiful, and the topic even more so! 

Rachel O'Neal and I had the same topic and we didn't even talk to each other! I love this layout about her little one's first lost tooth. I think I need to get out my hexagon punch now.

I love this blast of color from Stacie! It's like a confetti of stars. I think I may have to lift it!

It's your turn! The challenge: make something (like a background) and then CUT IT UP and use it on a project. Use your die cut machine like Heather, or punches like Rachel and I did, or even use your scissors!!  Projects are due October 2nd!
