Elodie here and I'm thrilled to be sharing my first Paper Issues blog post with you today! For this first post, I made a girly layout featuring the gorgeous Fancy Free and Take Me Away lines by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee, along with a fun photo of me and my girls, including the furry one, snapped in a corn maze a few weeks ago.
This page uses some of my scrappy favorites: stitching, sequins and floral paper. I started by stitching a frame on the background paper, adding white sequins along the way. I played with my craft scissors and cut pretty flowers in some Fancy Free and Take Me Away papers. I placed them around the picture in the center of the page, along with die-cuts, buttons and alphas.
I made a little cluster on the pic using a paper clip, a chipboard heart and a journaling strip to complete the title, and I added droplets of black ink as a finishing touch.
I just love these two collections! They are so pretty and really work well together! You can find them in the Paper Issues store, along with lots of beautiful supplies. Don't forget to use the code Elodie to get 20% off your order!
Thanks so much for stopping by the PI blog today! Wishing you a great day!
