July Pocket Page Features!

Today is all about our July Pocket Page Challenge, featuring pages by our Friends and Fans! Each of these pocket page artists shared their work in our Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} group on Facebook. and have earned a chance to win a gift certificate to the shop in our monthly drawing! The July Challenge is still open through August 1st if you'd like to play along.

The July Pocket Page Challenge is to use one (or) any combination of the following:

  • Use patterned paper (6x6" paper pads are perfect to cut up for pockets!)
  • Show page(s) from 2016
  • Use a tag: die cut, hand cut, you name it

Lindsay Allen documented a week from 2016. The series of photos of her son on the bottom right pulled me in right away! What a great way to capture a child's expressions and personality.

Becky Stidham is using a smaller format for her pocket album but, with big impact! Love the photos and word cards paired with bold patterns and colors.

Janet Grzanka-Dlugokenski used patterned paper and a tag to complete this challenge. She is plugging away, finishing up her album from 2014-2015 in style! Using grid cards throughout the two pages is the perfect way to unify multiple days and events.

Ettiene Rickels scraps pocket pages when she cannot narrow down her photos. She created a whole series of pages, featuring this sweet girl fully enjoying being a baking assistant. How fun is the sequin shaker pocket?

Kristi Marsh's photos are incredible! I love the strong visuals paired with great fonts. Just beautiful!

Thank you to all of the ladies who shared their talent with us this month!
