..::Mix It Up Features::..

..:: the features ::..

I'm back, Orange Gearle here, with just a few of the beautiful layouts posted in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans group for our Mix It Up Challenge this month!

A couple of the Design Team Members decided to join us for the challenge this month!

Kelly Feldman started with a piece of kraft card stock and added a bunch of white paint!  Then she used a woodgrain roller stamp to create the awesome texture that you see here. I just love it.

Mary Ann Jenkins used paint to create her own background with text on this fabulous page. Aren't the colors just awesome!?

Now let's see what some of you from the Paper Issues Friends and Fans group created!

Look closely and you will see the bright green screen print that Colleen Collins painted as part of her background and matting for the books on this layout. Great idea!

Cherrie Vrabel painted a background using bubble wrap (and a rolling pin)! I love the texture here!

And finally, Elodie Lusseau used a splash of black acrylic paint to house her bright photos and embellishments. I dig the contrast here!

As usual I am amazed at how everyone has accepted the challenge and created beautiful projects this month. It's not too late to play! Share your page by July 4th in the June Challenge Album on the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group!

There are a quite a few new items that were added to the store in the last few days.  Grab what you need and use the code 'orangegearle' for 20% off your order!
