Hello everyone!! I'm so excited to be posting my very own post for the PI blog!
I don't know about you, but lately I have been scrapping with smaller pictures. I will use pictures that are no bigger than 4x6, but most of the time I use wallet size or little Instagram sized pics. It lets me get a lot of pictures on a page and I think they just look cute!
Today I wanted to do something different. I wanted to use a big picture. I think some pictures just make a bigger impact when they are large, like this one I took of my daughter and her favorite horse.
When I scrap a big picture, I want to make it sure it's about the picture and not add too much to the page. I used Amy Tangerine Stitched woodgrain paper and some Happy Place from Fancy Pants to make this one. I tucked and layered some tags and added blank labels to the top corner. Of course I had to throw in some enamel dots too. (those are one of my favorite embellishements)
At the bottom I put the title to even out the page and I love how the Fancy Pants letters look. Again I had to add the enamel dots to finish it off.
Hope this inspires you to create a page with a big picture soon! I would love to see what you create if you do, so make sure you share with us on the PI Facebook page! And remember, if you visit the PI store, make sure you use my code to get your discount! Have a great day!
