Are you ready to be (P)inspired?

The New Year is bringing several changes to Paper Issues.  I am excited to bring you my(Mary-Ann) first mood board, inspired by beautiful things I have see on Pinterest.  Did you know that you can follow us on Pinterest?

We are hoping that you will get some crafty idea up your sleeve and play along with us this month.  Now that the holidays are over, and the cooking and eating has ceased, you need to find something to do with your hands, right?  Later in the month, we will be sharing some of your designs as Fan Features!  Pretty exciting, right?

Without further ado, I present the January Mood board!  Go HERE to visit our Paper Issues {Friends and Fans} and check out our January challenges.

Here is how I interpreted the board.

I focused on the whites and a touch of the blue that you catch throughout the board.  I used the Remember December Swag Bag for the entire layout except the 12x12 base paper and the white letters..

Now, let's see how a few of the Design Team members played with this mood board.

Corri created this stunning purple wintery card.   Of course, the doily is like a great big snowflake! Clean and absolutely beautiful.

Cassie's layout is pure magic.   She broke out her Cameo for the title and had to have taken hours to place these bits and pieces perfectly!  The more you look, the more you will see!

This postage card by Kathleen is a take on the wintery feel of the board.  Her cute snowmen and kind sentiment, are sure to warm a friends heart.

Who says, when you live in California, your idea of snow can't come in the form of sand!  Great take on the board Kelly!

Rachel brought in some mixed media as she pulled the colors straight out of the board.  Instead of winter, her ice creams make us dream of summer!

I love the dark blue flowers tucked behind the photos.  Enza's little clump on the bottom is just darling.  I am a sucker for clumping!

I love when people think out side the box and create home decor.  This little gem can be displayed from November to March!  I love love love this Michelle.

I may have gasped out loud when I saw this layout.  Look at that stunning paper from Bo Bunny Altitude.    The sideways title directs you eye to every photo!  Great job Becky.

I saved this layout by Lisa until the end for a reason.  There is no purple or blue, but the cat and the lace elements are here!  I point this out because there are NO rules for participating in our (P)inspiration challenge.  Whatever you pull from the mood board, maybe one thing, or 10 things. Anything goes and this terrific layout is the prime example.

So, be sure to enter your projects HERE in the PI Facebook community.  Like I mentioned earlier, we will be featuring some of your talented work on our blog later in the month.
There are gift certificates to the Paper Issues shop to be won, and everyone who plays along with our monthly challenges is entered to win!

Remember,  if there is anything you have your eye on in the Paper Issues Store, grab it for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.  Get free shipping when you reach $65.00.
