Scrapping the Holidays

Well, the holidays have passed, and chances are you probably still have pictures in your camera (or phone) that either need to be downloaded, developed or maybe even need to be looked at for the first time. You may be like me and have not only those pictures, but some older photos too. What ever the case, now is the time to get them scrapped with some of the amazing paper that is available in the Paper Issues store!!  For my layout, I used the Under the Tree collection by October Afternoon, a bit of Shimelle's True Stories collection, and as you can see, the photos are from 1970. See I told you I had some old photos!

These are the only pictures I have from Christmas that year, so I wanted them to be the focus of my layout. I layered three different pattern papers on top of my cardstock, ending with the "Christmas Assortment" piece that reminded me of packing from the 70's.

I topped the tree off with a gold Pop Drop star enamel sticker, and finished the layout with a bit of machine stitching, the cute delivery sticker, and Thickers for the date.

Be sure to stop by the PI store to have a look at all the Christmas papers and embellishments that are available, and while you are there, be sure to use code: Mary Ann for 20% off your order!!

  1. Love that background paper you chose here! Too many Christmas goodies and not enough pictures to scrap with it! Lovely problem!

  2. This is beautiful. The candle paper reminds of my childhood.
