Plan On It :: Washi Challenge Spotlight

Hi there! Jen here today with a new weekly planner spread for this feature. Though summer is winding down here in New York, August has brought some of our hottest days. I focused on color this week with the gem-toned Lora Bailora triangle washi tape, the mason jar and butterfly Pebbles stickers and the big, scripty Summer from Simple Stories. And, no planner is complete now without a PI PaperPOP as a page marker! I attached the gold planner PaperPOP (how cute is she???) to a magnetic page clip I had on hand using a couple of glue dots.

I hope you've been following along with us in our new monthly challenges in the Paper Issues {Friends and Fans} Facebook group! The planner challenge this month is to use washi tape in your planner. Upload your entry to the challenge thread by September 13th and you'll be in the running to win a Paper Issues gift certificate! Here are just a few of the entries that caught my eye since the challenge began:

Elaine Davis shared this lovely blue and purple spread using washi three different ways!

Sandi Pressley decorated her planner for the first time, but she sure looks practiced! I love that little banner crafted from washi by first placing the tape on white paper:

Tabbatha Ljungberg added a pop of striped color to her planner with washi. And, it's doing double duty reinforcing those holes!

And our own Cassie Box decorated her planner for this beautiful weekly spread while on a family vacation. She blogged about her travel supply kit, including the awesome teal washis, here.

The Paper Issues shop has oodles of PaperPOPs, washi, stickers and supplies for your planner, with more rolling in! Use code JENBOOM for 20% off of your order. Now that'll get your planning goals met!
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to keep sharing the planner inspiration!
Jen
