Pockets and Printables

Hello all, it's Jen today sharing pocket pages I created for the current "Mr. Fix-It" Issue. These pages are made up of June's free printable List All The Things, some Swag Bag goodies and Crate Paper's Craft Market line. The two printable cards I chose - I have a list for that & Right Now - match up perfectly with the colors and patterns of the papers!

While these pages are technically a week in our life snapshot, every photo on this left page was taken on that Monday. It all started off with smiling kids, new home decor and fresh flowers and ended with our oldest son breaking his wrist, two ambulance rides and two ER's.

Thankfully, the rest of the week was far better! We took a trip to the zoo, visited family and my oldest and I had a much needed donut and library date.

Back to that broken wrist. What a story, and a long one at that, typed out small on THREE cards! It needed to fit without taking up several pockets. I took one of my glassine Swag Bags and emptied it then, cut the top down to 4 inches, cut one side and folded it back to a 3 inch width. I closed up the back with a bit of double sided adhesive and used a 1 inch circle punch to create a thumb notch in the front. Voila! A bit of upcycling and problem solved!

Have you linked up to the "Mr. Fix-It" Issue yet? You have until Sunday to submit your projects and be in the running to win a fantastic Fancy Pants prize package! What projects fit this theme? Try out mists, anything masculine, use our free printables for June (as I did here!) or Fancy Pants products, highlight Dads, tools or summer plans. Create a new project or find an existing one and {LINK UP TO THIS POST}. That's all! I hope you'll play along. Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. I want to start doing these type of pages for my art journal. That envelope pocket to hold multiple cards is awesome, though I hope your son's wrist heals quickly.
