Swag Bag Feature: Two Layouts and a Card

Hello Paper Issues fans! Lisa here today to share some Swag Bag projects with you — a birthday card I made for my soon-to-be teenage daughter and two inspiring layouts from my fellow design team members, Sherri and Kelly.

Just in case you don't know, Swag Bags are Paper Issues monthly embellishment kit. If you haven't checked them out, you are missing out on a whole lot of awesome.

I'll admit to being an embellishment junkie so I'm hooked on the variety these kits have to offer. I've made sure to get each and every one since they debuted earlier this year. They allow me to try a sampling of embellishments, rather than buying a whole package. If I need more of something, I can buy a whole pack.

First up is Sherri's fabulous layout. I love how she used the papers to create a grid design as a base for her photo and then layered up embellishments from the kit (like the banners, house clip and label stickers) to frame the photo. Did you notice her adorable doodling? Super attention to the little details on this page, that's for sure!

Next up is the card I made with layered up embellishments and a big punch of color from Simple Stories DIY Boutique collection. Don't you just love the metal typewriter key embellishment? It was one of my favorite pieces in the kit (and did you notice Sherri used it on her layout too?)

Last, but not least, is Kelly's layout. I love how she used the 3x4 papers as a base for the rest of her page and what about that awesome wood veneer number and metal stencil monograms? Yeah, there's a lot to love about this page.
