just a creepy little girl in an old blue dress

Hi there, friends!  Leah l'Orange here with you today, taking over the Paper Issues blog to shine a little light on a SUPER FUN project I spotted in our Halloween Hootenanny!  I always like it when people do things outside of the norm, and this particular project does just that.

Remember ATCs?  I've made a handful of them over the years, and I think they're seriously underrated little crafty masterpieces.  In fact, I think some people make them for their Project Life pages and don't even realize they're doing it.  ;)

This submission, from Serena, totally caught my eye:

The DOODLES!  Oh, how I love doodles on just about any project.  Grab a Sharpie, throw down some color, alter some pretties (like these wood veneer STARS from Studio Calico), and you've got the stuff dreams (in this case, creepy ones) are made of!

Love it, Serena!  Thanks so much for linking up for our Halloween Hootenanny!

There's still PLENTY of time to join the party!  And in the meantime, why not grab some of those fun wooden stars for yourself, along with a bunch of other fun wood doo-dads, like THESE from Prima:

and use my code for a happy little discount!

  2. That is a creepy ghoulie, and yet so not hard to look at at all. :) I may have to go get a pack of ATC cards now and see what I can come up with. Thanks!!
