Introducing Monique Liedtke

Hi everyone! It’s Monique here with my very first blogpost for Paper Issues! I’m so very happy and grateful Cassie asked me to be part of this amazing design team! 

I’m a mom to 3 (a girl: 16 and two boys: 13 and 8), married and living in The Netherlands. I work parttime in an HR office and in my “me-time” I either scrapbook or read. I’ve been scrapbooking for 10 years now and am so blessed to be on the design teams of my favorite manufacturers: Doodlebug and Imaginisce and until recently also on My Little Shoebox’. Here’s one of my favorite layouts I recently created for Doodlebug (the wood veneers were from Cassie’s shop):

And of course I’ve got some issues to share with you! 

1. I love to read and often read 5 books at the same time. 

2. I never want to admit I need reading glasses and so, while at work in the office, I inadvertently sent an e-mail to the wrong person because I refused to use my glasses and misread the e-mail address. 

3. I’ve got an awfully sweet tooth, but don’t really like chocolate. 

4. I’ve got a driving licence to drive a motorcycle, but never did. (I do love to drive my car though.) 

5. In The Netherlands everyone loves soccer, but I don’t! (I’m not a sports fan at all!)
