Bring Home the Bacon | Kisha

Hi, y'all! Kisha here. Today at Paper Issues, we are creating a project about bringing home the bacon. There are so many ways this can be interpreted. For example a 9-5 job, your coworkers, being a mom (or dad!) or your home. I took it literally by making it about my new "job" working from home making polymer clay earrings!

It has been a LOT of fun, but has a lot had many challenges. I've come a long way, but also struggle trying to make things better. It IS a dream come true, though! I have always wanted to make money doing something creative.

I documented this new venture using Vicki Boutin Foundations paper
Pretty Little Studio and Jen Hadfield papers for the strips. I just love those fun patterns! I tucked in beautiful floral ephemera and gold puffy stickers from Jen Hadfield and Pinkfresh Studio. Elle’s Studio alphas create my title, and Tim Holtz distress oxides make the fun splatters. I think I let them get a little out of hand. ;). I also used the 11/10 sketch by Cassie Wiscarson as inspiration on the design.

I have never really scrapped much about my previous jobs, so this was a fun challenge for me. I hope you find inspiration to document about your job, no matter what that may be in your life. We'd love to learn more about you! Make sure you post it in the albums on Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook page to be entered to win a prize! Don't forget to use my code KISHA if you need any new goodies! You know you do. ;)

See you in December! DECEMBER! I can't believe it's already almost December.
