Howdy! Kisha here from hot Texas. I cannot believe that August is almost over. This year has been nuts!
Today, I am bringing you my take on the Gymnastics challenge. I haven't used ribbon in a LONG time...you can tell by my stash. When I saw this challenge, I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, I just knew I wanted it to be fitness related. I thought I had a measuring tape ribbon, but I had used it on something else, and found this one while looking. I wasn't super creative with this ribbon, but the words were perfect, and if I did too much to it, you wouldn't be able to read it. So, there it is...a border!

And, a long journey it has been!
I used the Paper Issues July Kit to help tell my story. I added distress ink through a Vicki Boutin stencil to bring out that Olympic feel.

For the torn paper edge strip I used the EK Success Square Hole Binding Paper Edge Punch. I have been putting off purchasing a punch like this because I rarely use them and wasn't sure I wanted to find a place for it. I'm so glad I did! It adds the perfect touch without a lot of effort.
This LO was pretty quick and easy because the kit did all the heavy lifting, I just assembled it!
There are some fabulous challenges over on the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} page. Be sure to check them out. We'd love to see you play along! Make sure that you post your creation in the coordinating album (Either the August Usual Suspects or the Pop UP Crop)so that we can give you some love, and to be entered to win a prize!
This post was short and sweet, but has a lot of pretty things to see! The Paper Issues store is filled to the brim with awesome new products, so get the over there right now before it's gone!
