Together

Good morning scrappers! Wendy here today to share with you a layout I made for the March Scrap Soup challenge. If you are not familiar with it, it is a super fun recipe challenge with a list of items to include on your project. You can add as many other things as you want, but you must include the listed items. This month's list consists of: 3 embellishments, 6 hearts, 2 patterned papers, chipboard title and stamping.

If you haven't heard yet, I was absolutely in LOVE with the January Swag Bag; so much so that I bought more than one. So when I read over the ingredient list, I knew it would be perfect to use again. For my layout, I used more than 6 hearts in 6 different pattern papers. I also stitched some hearts too to add dimension and texture. Stitching is one of my favorite things to do on all my layouts. I worked with ephemera, a paperclip, puffy alphas and shapes, sequins, and stickers, as my embellishments. I grabbed an old chipboard title and covered it in glitter and viola! I had the start of my title!

How adorable is that guitar with the glittered strings?! It was the inspiration behind my title.

Not only did I stamp the date on a label, but I used a separate roller sentiment stamp for the "you make me happy."

I just love all the little bits and pieces that come in the swag bag!

I hope you are feeling inspired to play along and create something new. Upload your creations in the March Challenge Album here in PIFF to be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a Paper Issues gift card! Want to share on Instagram too? Tag @paperissues and #paperissues so we can see your projects and maybe even share them, too!
Are you in need of supplies before you start creating? Well, you should check out ALL THE NEW THINGS that are in the store. There are so many new items I can hardly keep up with it all. I know those blue alphas I have on my page are currently out of stock, but check out the other colors! When you spend $75 you will also receive FREE shipping.
