December Sketchy Saturday

It is December, the last month of 2017! I can't believe how fast this year has flown by but I'm totally looking fwd to 2018 that is for sure. With all the holidays it is a great reminder of why so many of us scrapbook. We are our family historians saving these moments not just in an album but artistically preserving them. And there is no better way to get your creative magic flowing then with some sketch inspiration.

 

I may be biased but I totally love how this sketch turned out.  A bit of wood little bows it is such great fun. So lets take a peak at what the DT has done with it. 

 First up is Wendy with this great boy page.  She used a bit of everything from the shop and it turned out great. I love those bright colors against the black.

Devra used Old School by Simple Stories for this awesome back to school page. I love the photos side by side of the earlier years and the last year. So awesome

Amanda has us all jealous with beach photos in December but she's in Australia and full of sunshine. 

She used Pink Paislee's Wild Child for this layout and it is perfect for these photos.

Kelly also used some Pink Paislee but the Summer Lights collection to show off these super cute pictures. Lets all say "awwww" in unison. This line is perfect for to show off this little cutie. 

In keeping with these use of colors we have Lisa who totally made this sketch her own. She used Cocoa Vanilla Studio's Bohemian Dreams for this layout and it just screams happiness. I love the use of the Paper Issues card tucked in there it is perfect. 

Tracey is getting all Christmas with this sketch and showing her tradition of card making. She used Crate Papers Falala collection for this and I love love the little pops of green in this. 

 

I went with the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Studio there is very little in the shop. But last I checked there was still some of this wood grain in there if you haven't grabbed it yet. I LOVE like obsess over all wood grain paper I just think it is such a great background for any layout.
